Article summary

Managed Apps Usage is based upon the amount of time the Managed App is registered within your EchoStream Tenant. Usage is 0.0695 per hour.

Example

Let's assume that you have a tenant that is interacting with three geographically seperate sites. Each site requires a hybrid installation due to unsecure access to applications and data within the site (e.g. - a local file share, an application that uses HL7 MLLP, an application that only accepts HTTP, a database that is using unencrypted sockets, etc.). The companies that run these sites have no development capabilities, so you must manage the on-site application for them. Your solution is to put an EchoStream Managed App at each location. Each site has a minimum of 3 applications that you must integrate with, and you choose to implement each integration as a seperate Managed Node.

This results in a total deployment of 3 Managed Apps and 9 Managed Nodes.

Note: One Managed App can run as many Managed Nodes as the underlying virtual machine resources can handle. EchoStream does not charge you for Managed Nodes.

Assuming that each month has 744 hours in it, this would result in 744 (hours) * 0.0695 (usage rate) * 3 (sites) = 155.124 (Managed App Usage) per month.

At the Cost per Usage of $0.50, this example would cost you $77.562 per month.
