There is one Audit Emitter Node that is created for your Tenant when you create your Tenant.
Every Node is your Tenant's processing network creates a message audit for every message processed.
These message audits are collected for up to 15 minutes or 128MD of audit data is collected and emitted once the collection is complete by the Audit Emitter as an echo.audit
message. This message contains a link to an object with one audit message per line (in JSON format).
You may create a Node that can receive those echo.audit
message and process them. Some use cases for processing audit messages are:
- Storing the audit records in a Data Lake for compliance reasons.
- Sending the audit records to a Data Analytics application for near real-time evaluation of message flow, perhaps for data security analysis.
- Sending the audit records to a Reporting tool to enable your Ops team to provide message tracking support internally or externally.
