Article summary

Cross Tenant Receiving Nodes are special Nodes in your EchoStream Tenant. They are created automatically for you when a partner Tenant creates a Cross Tenant Sending Node.

You cannot configure or modify a Cross Tenant Receiving Node, and your Cross Tenant Receiving Node will only receive messages from it's corresponding Cross Tenant Sending Node in your partner's Tenant. The Message Type that your Cross Tenant Receiving Node is able to send is set by your partner Tenant when they create the Cross Tenant Sending Node; as such, you must coordinate the Message type with your partner Tenant if it is a Tenant Message Type, or you must use one of the System Message Types.

What you can do with a Cross Tenant Receiving Node

  • Attach Edges to your Cross Tenant Receiving Nodes to transmit and process them in your Tenant.
  • Delete your Cross Tenant Receiving Node, which will also automatically delete the Cross Tenant Sending Node in your partner's Tenant, thereby severing the link.
