Article summary

Cross Tenant Sending Nodes are special Processor Nodes that send their messages only to their partner Cross Tenant Receiving Node.

When you create a Cross Tenant Sending Node, EchoStream will automatically create a Cross Tenant Receiving Node in the partner Tenant. When you delete a Cross Tenant Sending Node, the corresponding Cross Tenant Receiving Node will also be deleted, severing the link.

You specify the Message Type that the corresponding Cross Tenant Receiving Node can send. As such, you must corrdinate the Message Type with your partner Tenant if you are using a Tenant Message Type, or you must use one of the System Message Types.

Using the Cross Tenant Sending Node, you can fully control the messages that you send to the other Tenant, including transforming and filtering those messages. Your partner Tenant, through the Cross Tenant Receiving Node, can fully control the processing of that message once it is received in their Tenant. This division of responsibilities keeps the control of messages with the owner of the message (which is transferred when the message is transferred).

For the configuration of your Cross Tenant Sending Node, please see the Processor Node documentation.
